Control+C Festival 2011

Control + C is a festival that explores the modern arts from any point of view. Repetition and human approach, digital and analog live in an open minded festival.

Control + C takes place every winter in Carpi (Modena) in different locations, in partnership with associations, local promoters, clubs and involving the whole city.

Artists which have appeared in the last editions: Apparat, broadcast, Christian Fennesz, Dani Siciliano, Dustin O’Halloran, Hauschka, Julia Kent, Junior Boys, Nathan Fake, Plaid, Prefuse 73, Johann Johannsson, Josephine Foster, Banjo Or Freakout, and many others, for a kaleidoscope of rhythms, musical melodies abstractions involving an average of 3000 spectators.

The fifth edition of the festival will be held in Carpi always in the evenings of 18, 19 and 20 November 2011.

Highlights of the program – still being developed:
– Friday, November 18: Andrew Weatherall and Geoff Farina (Karate),
– Saturday, November 19 Murcof, Peter Broderick, A Classic Education and Cannibal Movie.

Trade shows, DJ sets, video projections and meetings, with most of the events with free entry.
