The second annual Crankworx Colorado Freeride Mountain Bike Festival is scheduled for July 31 – August 3, 2008. Crankworx Colorado will move into its second year growing from three days to four, and to make things more interesting is offering up to $30,000 in prize money. The 2008 Crankworx Colorado festival will include Slopestyle, Big Air, Cross Country, Downhill, Super Downhill and All-Mountain Super Downhill competitions, with more events to be named as we approach the event. Known for its close proximity to Denver, Winter Park Resort is Mountain Bike Capital, USA™ and also home to Trestle Bike Park with over 28 miles of lift accessible mountain bike trails. Whether you are an athlete looking to take home part of the prize money or a spectator coming up to watch some of the most spectatular athletes like Brian Lopes, Cam McCaul, Paul Basagoitia, and Lluis and Andreu Lacondeguy, Crankworx Colorado will blow you away!
