Freeride World Tour in Haines, AK
The 27 athletes who qualified for the “dream stop” of the Swatch Freeride World Tour 2017 in Haines (USA) enjoyed first-class snow conditions in Alaska. Alternate weather conditions shaped the day. After a long wait, the clouds spread in the late morning and gave the view to “The Venue” free.
The 740-meter slope offered magnificent snow conditions with deep powder after the snowfall last week. In the last stage before the final in Verbier (SUI), the level in the fight for points for the world championship titles was exceptionally high.
