Kyle Warner is North American Enduro Champ

I just wrapped up what has turned out to be one crazy ass season! This past weekend I was in Mt Hood at the North American Enduro Tour final. I came into this race with a slight points lead for the year and knew it was going to be a tight battle for the win. This venue has been my favorite for the past few years and I knew that if I rode smooth and smart I had a good chance for the win.

Saturday was really fun we raced 3 stages at sandy ridge and I was able to put myself in third after day one. The man I had to beat was one of my main rivals for the year as well as a good friend Nate Hills. He was roughly 30 seconds back after the first day so I knew going into day two I just had to relax and make it through safe and sound.

Sunday was one of the most stressful days of my life and I was very nervous for the race. I had a conservative first run and gave up 10 seconds to Nate. The final run of the day was the Pro DH track at Ski Bowl and I knew I just had to make it down alive and I would be number one. As I dropped in I thought I was gonna puke and went on auto pilot. Before I knew it I was sprinting into the finish with a huge smile on my face as I knew I had made it!

After a few beers and some interviews we had the podiums for the NAET finals and I was on top!. I can’t believe that all the hard work paid off and I came out with the overall title. Thank you so much for all of the support this year. I seriously had no shot at this without the amazing team of people behind my back. You guys rock and all have a national title under your name!

Sincerely, Kyle Warner
