La Thuile Enduro powered by Sram is going to be epic
Many big names of the national and international scene are going to be on the start line of the fourth stage of Coppa Italia Enduro (Italian Enduro Cup), from the Italian champion Alex Lupato to Jerome Clementz and Tracy Mosely.
Due to the announcement of the race course, during the last weekend the MTB Natural Trail Area of La Thuile has been very busy with riders. Many of them came to check the PSs out before the stage of Coppa Italia Enduro, which will take place next weekend, on the 11th and 12th of July. Their feedback has been really positive.
The course has been approved all thumbs up! With 4500 m of descent and only 500 m to be pedalled uphill: this means itself a lot of fun. On top of this, long and technical stages that need proper riding skills, perfect summer weather and the breathtaking panorama dominated by Mont Blanc. With all this, the desire of being there is full-on! It is not about racing or getting ranking points for the Coppa championship: taking part to La Thuile Enduro is a real experience!

This is something that Jerome Clementz, 2014 champion of the Enduro World Series, knows very well. Last year, due to a collarbone fracture, he couldn’t take part to the fourth stage of the EWS here at La Thuile and he followed the race from the paddock area. This time he didn’t think twice and he will definitely be on the start line to race himself!
Also Tracy Moseley, current champion, assured that she would be there next Saturday, on the start line’s platform of La Thuile Enduro, together with the ladies of her category. This is the third year that Tracy comes to ride La Thuile’s trails. She fell in love with this place the first time she found her lines on the trails.
Jerome and Tracy won’t be the only top riders on the start line, also due to the fact that this race is close in time (one week) and not far away (less than 100 km) from Samoens, where the next stage of the EWS will take place.
From a ranking perspective, the results will matter especially for the Italian riders, because the La Thuile’s race will be valid as the penultimate stage of the Coppa Italia Enduro. A very important event, as in terms of ranking everything is still possible and these are the last chances to get points.
The strongest Italian athletes will all be there, including Alex Lupato, just crowned Italian Champion for the third time. Nicola Casadei, actual ranking leader, will also be there, together with the immediate followers Denny Lupato and Vittorio Gambirasio, Davide Sottocornola, Manuel Ducci, Matteo Raimondi, Francesco Fregona, Marco Bugnone and many others. They will share the ground with a number of enduro’s enthusiasts that cannot wait to take part to the event.
With them in mind, the organizing staff has prepared a true surprise. In fact, Saturday evening, after the first day of race, all riders are welcome to the Italian premiere of ‘unReal’, the masterpiece by Teton Gravity Research and Anthill Films. The one at La Thuile will be the only showing done in Italy during the world tour of this MTB movie.
This is the first feature film created by the unprecedented collaboration of the two famous action sport production companies. Shot in 4K only, the film leads the spectator into an unreal world, in a wild boundless wonderland. Without rules, everything is possible.
Don’t miss it!
The show will begin at 21.30.
To conclude, we would like to add another good reason not to miss this edition of La Thuile Enduro powered by SRAM, which is the significant prize pot put together by SRAM, with more than 10.000 Euro in bike kit.
