The 6th stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World series took place in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina for the very first time. This town provides a long tradition of cliff diving at Stari Most, the famous bridge above the river Neretva in Mostar’s city centre.

After five wins in a row Gary Hunt misses the podium, nonetheless secures his 5th World Series win. No one of his fellow competitors can beat his overall score now. American David Colturi manages to pull off the highest scores in the competition and finishes in third place.


Wildcard winner Sergio Guzman (MEX) takes second place performing a reverse four summersault. For the first time ever in history a wildcard diver takes the podium. Fellow Mexican Jonathan Paredes gives himself the best birthday present, one day after his 26th birthday, and takes his first ever win. Paredes now stands in third place in the overall competition.



The World Series moves on to Polignano a Mare in Italy for the 7th and next-to-last stop on September 13th.
