Martin Soederstroem signs with rasoulution

After the great success of Martin Soederstroem in Whistler (CAN), when he got 3rd at Crankworx, the Swedish young gun and rasoulution decided to work together. Martin will join now the international rooster of rasoulution that includes riders like Trond Hansen, Roger Rinderknecht, Benny Korthaus as well as Lluis and Andreu Lacondeguy.

Since this year everybody who is involved in freeride mountain biking should have heard of Martin Soederstroem, not only because he won the BIG in BAVARIA during Munich’s BIKE EXPO, but 3 weeks later he had his first appearance in North America where he got 3rd place at Whistler’s Kokanee Crankworx.

But actually Martin has been around for quite some time. In 2007 he won the slopestyle contest in Are, Sweden and shortly after that a video got posted on youtube with amazing riding of Martin, not only showing his great slopestyle performance, but especially his street style impressed people a lot.

In 2008 Soederstroem had his international breakthrough. He rode at various dirt and slopestyle contests in Europe and proved to the world’s best riders that he is right amongst them and actually has got more skills than most of them.
At first he got 2nd at the Vienna Air King, then he won the Nissan Qashqai Challenge stop in Munich and on top he got 2nd at the Adidas Slopestyle. At last year’s Anti Days of Thunder he rode impressive as well and got a cover in German’s Mountainbike Rider magazine.

The 19yrs old Swedish bike talent had even a better year in 2009. He is unstoppable and rode many different contests.

Martin’s 3rd place at the slopestyle in Whistler was probably his biggest success in 2009, especially in front of the North American audience. He showed sick double tailwhips, 360-whips, truckdrivers and lots more tricks and style during the whole contest. For Martin that was his most special moment in 2009:“ Crankworx was amazing for me. Performing in front of such big crowds with the World’s top guys in freeriding was just insane! I also enjoyed meeting all the riders that you usually know only from the movies!’’

Rasoulution’s managing partner Tarek Rasouli expressed: “Martin is an awesome rider with a performance level that shows a whole new ball-game to the freeride scene. It’s great to see how his bike handling skills just make people smile and cheer. I saw him in a video almost two years ago and we invited him to one of our contests, we knew he will do well and we were always open to work with Martin. His greatest characteristics are his beautiful personality with a lot of professionalism at a young age!’’
