Monster Energy Spring Classics 2011

Energy Spring Classics at Snowpark Kaunertal are still on until May 22nd 2011. For the Pleasure Week the setup is shining brightly with a variety of lines and spring conditions. The Monster Energy Jib Session is going to be this spring season ́s highlight. Further events on the upcoming schedule are the classical soccer tournament and traditional „Butter bei die Fische“ session.

The Monster Energy Spring Classics have already attracted shredders from all parts of Europe to travel to Kaunertal Glacier since mid-April. The superpipe and kicker line with two jums next to the medium-line and minishred-course have been very popular during the last weeks. Different crews have been shooting at Snowpark Kaunertal, events like the DC Girls Park Days brought all kinds of riders together. But how life goes, all good things come to an end. So it is even better, that there is still some time left to visit the snowpark, since the Monster Energy Spring Classics are running until May 22nd.

Six weeks of park action – and the last week is going to gear up again! From May 16th until May 22nd, the Snowpark Kaunertal calls all motivated shredders to join in for the Pleasure Week with spring conditions and t-shirt weather. But don ́t forget your sunscreen! A great variety of obstacles is getting shaped by the crew every day and there is nothing in the way of great and chilled out sessions every day and all day long.

The last weekend will kick off with the Grounded Wiesn Gaudi on Friday April 20th 2011. The setup is going to feature two downrails for all motivated snowboarders to witness their skills. The jam session starts at 4.00 p.m. Another great highlight of the Spring Classics is the Monster Energy Jib Session, that will go down on Saturday, April 21st on a double kinked rall and a down rall. Great tricks will immediately be rewarded with cash. The meeting point for all jibbers will be right at the obstacles at 11.00 a.m.

At 4.00 p.m. all shredding soccer fans are going to meet up at the soccer field in Feichten/Grasse where six players team up to compete in a tournament. Each game takes 15 minutes and professional football shoes are not allowed. The afterparty fueled by Monster Energy goes down at Zappa Dello. DJ Mighty Steve rocks behind the turntables and the entry is free.

Out of bed and into the boots! After a few hours of sleep the action goes on in the park. Sunday, April 22nd will be your last chance to shred the snowpark before the summer break. Impressive tricks, stylish outfits and other highlights will be rewarded with 5-Euro notes. This is what we call „Butter bei die Fische!“
