Montane and Andy Kirkpatrick
One of Britain’s top climbers, Andy Kirkpatrick is teaming up with outdoor brand, Montane to create innovative products for 2013/14 using his experience and knowledge of challenging and demanding climbs.
Andy is a well known climber – and also inspirational blogger – who has accomplished some epic winter expeditions including Torre Egger and Cerro Standhart in Patagonia with fellow climbing pal Ian Parnell, Suser Gjennom Harryland (the Troll Wall) in Norway and his more recent success was the treacherous North Face of the Eiger where he and his team faced the music with high-tech Montane clothing and specialist Montane equipment.
Andy attempted the 52-pitch, 2006 Russian route for Eiger and Montane clothing was the brand of choice in withstanding the cold, wet and icy conditions of the mountain.
