Mountain bikers are re-conquering Livigno

Only a few more days until the Swatch bikepark Mottolino in Livigno is finally opening its tracks and trails to mountain bikers from all over Europe again on the long awaited opening weekend (June 11th & 12th).

Be sure to make your way to Italy’s little Tibet this weekend, as many specials and the perfect riding experience are waiting for you! If you buy your ticket on Saturday, the Swatch Bikepark Livigno is inviting you to test the trails on Sunday, June 12th for free. The trails are being constantly overhauled, as Livigno is proud to have one of the most extensive and well maintained net of trails in Europe. One trail that will see a lot of improvements this season is the north shore section. Not only will fans of the wooden structures be happy to find new elements along the trail on the opening weekend, but the ongoing trail overhaul will continue throughout the season.

Of course, the trail will remain rideable throughout with only selected elements getting redesigned at one time. So there is lots of north shore action to look forward to!

Be it freeride, enduro, dirt jump, singletrail, north shore or the swatch air cushion for practising the newest trick – every rider finds what their mountain biker’s heart desires on the slopes of Livigno while enjoying an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains and the lakes. But the trails aren’t the only special treats waiting for visitors during the opening weekend.

Anyone who buys a lift pass or an all inclusive ticket is invited to a number of party locations. The Apres Bike party at the Birrificio Livigno welcomes you with a free beer (after showing off the lift pass) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. After that, the best place to go for a party is Miky’s pub where your free drink waits for you after 11pm.
