Nike 6.0 Air & Style 2011: Peetu Piiroinen conquers the Ring of Glory in Munich

Munich, february 12, 2011 – Peetu Piiroinen once again on the Air & Style podium, but this time on the higest step in front of a 16.500 people crowded at the Olympic Stadium. Peetu wins with a Cab 1260 Mute Grab and a Frontblunt 270 (93,07 punti). Seppe Smits take the second place (91,6 pts) and Halldor Helgason the second (77,6 pts) and Nils Arvidsson came fourth (37 pts).

A really hot night beginned with Nike 6.0 Stairset Battle finals, won by Mike Casanova (USA) and followed by Jamie Nicholls (GRB) and Forest Bailey (USA).

With this podium Peetu showed to be the back-to-back World TTR Champion bringin’ home 1000 TTR points and the famous Ring of Glory.

Andrew Hourmont, Air & Style founder says “Air & Style and great snowboarding got back to Munich and I believe that Munich really loved our comeback. Riders returned our efforts with a great show and the crowd really helped us all”.
