Out of Bounds Weekend

The annual Out of Bounds Weekend features a unique combination of mountain bike freeride competitions in 2009: The Austrian Downhill Championships, an iXS European DH Cup, as well as the legendary 26TRIX dirt jump contest. But Bikepark Leogang’s dirt line and the “Speedster” racetrack aren’t the only hot spots during the extended weekend from July 9th to 12th –a packed side program is also waiting for the freeride fans.

The Out of Bounds Weekend has become an institution during the European bike summer. The best dirt jumpers from all over the world made their way to the 26TRIX during the last three years. The iXS European DH Cup tour is also a big hitter and recommended as one of the most exciting international race series. The combination with the Austrian Downhill Championships promises even more action packed gravity riding.

An almost legendary side program features BBQs, a Bunny Hop contest, an exhibition area and a hard rocking after party with a huge crowd of people dancing and having fun like last year. On top, the lucky winners of the Wings for Life raffle (www.bikepark-leogang.com/en/wingsforlife) will be chosen and announced on Saturday, July 11th. The prizes like a brand new Kona Stinky or one week for two persons in Leogang will be handed to the lucky ones directly, when joining the Out of Bounds Weekend.
