Skate Europe Season Two

Vans and VBS.TV have teamed up again for another take on the Skate scene in Europe. The popular online show ‘Skate Europe’ which is made for skaters by skaters, starts off in Italy and will look at the best spots that Europe has to offer as well as meet the people behind the scenes and the styles.
The Italian section Skate Italy will begin to air on March 15th on www.vbs.tv

Skate Italy will be broken down into 5 parts, starting on Monday March 15th.

The first 2 parts are based around Rome. The main character is Ale Martoriati, (Vans Master Team Italy), and is based around the new skate park near the Cine Citta’ movie studios, and the scene in the 90’s around the EUR district of Rome.

The third part will be focused on Giorgio Zattoni and Andrea Cecchini.  Giorgio was Italy’s first international pro skating for Powell Skateboards, while Andrea is an underground legend who is famous for building an amazing skate ramp hidden in the mountains of the Ligurian coast.

Parts 3&4 delve into the scene around Milan with a little profile of the Milano Centrale Train Station with the Giordano brothers, two young skaters from Milan.  Then  we visit the Bastard Warehouse to talk a little history with Max Bonassi and Claudio Bernardini.
