Skiing AND biking possible in Leogang
Spring-like temperatures are responsible for a unique happening: for the first time, both bikers and skiers can enjoy action at the Asitz in Leogang at the same time.
The warm conditions make it possible to open the first trail of the Bikepark Leogang by the middle of April. The track “Hangman II”, from the mid-station of the gondola down to the valley sole, will be open to mountain bikers from April 12th to 21st, 2014.
Managing director Kornel Grundner is more than happy about this biker-/skier-premiere: “For the first time in history we can offer bikers a real headstart into the season. The ‘Hangman II’ was already tested by our shapers and is ready to go.” Skiing will be possible until April 21st, 2014.
Bikepark operating times April 12th – 21st 2014
The “Hangman II” track in Bikepark Leogang (mid station of gondola to bottom) will be open for mountain bikers from April 12th to 21st, 2014.
Discounted prices are on offer (-40%).
The Gravity Card is already valid.
Official start of the Bikepark: May 15th, 2014.
Skiing operating times until April 21st 2014
The following lifts are currently in service:
Leogang: Asitzbahn I & II, Sportbahn 2000, Asitzmuldenbahn, Asitzgipfelbahn and practice lift Asitz
Saalbach Hinterglemm: Areas of Schattberg / Westgipfel / Zwölferkogel, as well as Schönleiten (until April 6th, 2014 as a transfer to Leogang)
Operating times are subject to change.
