Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge

Like in the three previous years the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge will take place in a new location: on July 24th in the Bavarian town of Thannhausen.

The wakeboard course consists of an immense number of obstacles as well as runs into two directions. The contest will follow the usual line (anti clockwise) but the riders will also be able to show off their skills riding the lift into the other direction between the runs. This should definitely guarantee a few spectacular divers!

Therefore the turncable is the perfect condition for an amazing wakeboard contest. The only thing missing is you! Grab your wakeboard, team up with a partner and off you go to Thannhausen!

But better leave a little space in your trunk! The pro team that makes the best impression on the water will take a new UNIT Parktech kicker worth 5000Euros back home to its local cable. But no worries, we do deliver as well!

And of course there’s more: a Telekom Local Support BBQ party for the second pro team and lots of cool stuff from Pro-tec, Fiat Freestyle Team, Oakley and NewSchnitzel for the amateurs. And another highlight: the winner of the best trick contest will go home with one of only eight limited edition Turncable wakeboards.

As always, the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge is again the official qualifying for the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds on 29th of August 2010 in Hamburg. The best pro and the most convincing amateur have the chance to beat riders like Tom Foshee, Mike Anthony Kettellapper or James Young in the head to head competition.

There is no starter fee at the Telekom Local Support Wakeboard Challenge and entry is free. Should you get hungry after a few rounds on the water there will be a free rider’s BBQ where you can stuff your face or chill in the deck chairs. So everything will be there for a relaxed day at the lake – all we need now is the sun, so hold your thumbs! See you at the Turncable!
