Get ready for the fourth edition of Burn River Jump, an unparalleled event in Europe which will take place in Livigno on the 26th of February. Organized by Burton Snowboards in collaboration with Swatch Mottolino Snowpark, APT Livigno Ski and Snow-Passion Ski Area, the Burn River Jump is an event without equals in Europe.
This made in Italy contest, at its fourth edition, is now officially among the most important highlights of the Swatch TTR (Ticket To Ride), a Worldwide Snowboard Tour that has recognized 5 stars to the Burn River Jump.

The two contests scheduled at the end of February in the Valtellina valley are therefore among the most important European events. Title sponsor is Burn, The Coca Cola
energy drink, which confirms its innovative communication skills by bonding with such an extraordinary and unconventional event.
From the 24Th to the 26Th of February 2010, the land of Livigno, one of the most important and recognized Italian skiing resort, will host some of the best Italian and international snowboarders for the Burn River Jump. The Mottolino Snowpark and its amazing obstacles will be the setting
where the riders will struggle for a slice of the prize purse of $50,000USD and to collect valuable points for the Swatch TTR rankings. The Mottolino Snowpark is known as the best park in Italy and certainly counts among the best in Europe.
The showdown among the greatest worldwide riders will be on Friday the 26th of February starting late in the afternoon. The final battle, unique in its gender, consists in the spectacular jump of the Spoel river in the center of Livigno, precisely the Burn River Jump.

The kick off is on Wednesdaythe 24th of February with the BRUX-Slopestyle Contest. The best 10 riders from the BRUXSlopestyle Contest, 8 invited riders and 4 wild cards will then join the final and compete in a very technical and spectacular trial.
The riders list is still top secret, but it already promises great names! Thanks to the support of Giacomo Kratter, one of Italy’s most famous snowboarders, who is currently travelling across the United States to invite the best pros to Livigno. Preparations for the Burn River Jump have already begun and follow the principle “for riders by riders”, an essential principle in the snowboard world. Doors Snowpark Structure, an established company from Piedmont, will be a special partner designing all park obstacles .
