Talk to me about the story of the band!
Attitude started to play together in March 2010 when Gio Pixel, Davis Riff and Marco Ride decided to form an old style rock n roll band. After a few months we found Andre Licks, a singer that lives in a city near their town. After many concerts and changes with the rhythmic guitarist, we chose to play with just one. We started to play into locals not just near our city but also in North Italy sometimes, and until December 2012, we did 41 live shows. After the first EP “Sex Attitude & Rock’n’Roll”, recorded at Legion of Time Studio by Roberto Deblasio, where there are many songs of “Autodistruzione” recorded live in studio, and after an interview on Sky Television (channel 716), and many interviews on the local radios and newspapers, the band wanted to produce a definitive album with first EP’s songs and new ones. So, after a couple of months, and many mails to many Italian producers and owners of labels, Attitude found Govind Khurana (owner of “Raw Lines”, an hard’n’heavy label). After this, we produced in September 2013 our first album called “Autodistruzione”, recorded in one week at Sciolze (TO). The producer was Paolo Rigotto from “Freakone Royale Studio”. At the end of 2013 they did 23 live shows in North Italy and we also played with Adam Bomb. In 2014 the band recorded a new album and did 16 live shows. We also played again with Adam Bomb in May. Now the tour of the new album in coming and we hope that will be a great year! Stay Rock! Have Attitude!

What did you do in the last six months?
We recorded a new album called “Hard Rock Saloon”, produced by This Is Core and played on the road! We also started to write new songs and we hope to record another album as soon as possible.

What have you got in your wallet now?
We want to do many live shows and we will play a lot in this months but always in Italy. My dream is to organise this winter a little tour abroad. By the way we want to sell our new CD and listen if people love it! And you can do this only if you play on the road!

Why have you chosen this name for your band?
Because the only thing that we have in common is the “Attitude” that we have when we play rock n roll. We wanted a name that could tell something about us.

How important is the look/appearance for your band?
I think it’s quite important, because when we go on the stage we have a “look” similar to the band in the 80s. So, if you look to our clothes you can imagine that we play that kind of music. We also put this clothes (like leather pants and T-shirts) also when we don’t have to play. It’s simply the way we dress.

Tell us about the new LP “Hard rock saloon”. Are you fully satisfied with it?
If I have to tell you the truth no, because after one or two weeks there is always something that you will change but I also think that is a good work and the ten songs we wrote are really cool. We hope that also abroad the people can listen to our song also if they are in Italian! And I think that if someone would give a chance to this LP they will like it!

Which is the highest point of the LP?
My favourite songs are “Vivo tra le Fiamme” (the first single) and “Stop”, but I think that every song have something that I really love.

How would you define your sound?
“Dirty hard rock in Italian”. Like hard rock and street rock n roll bands in the 80s.

Hard-rock. Describe for me this genre of music.
“Hard Rock” is transversal genre because it is influenced by Blues, Rock’n’Roll in the 50s and 60s and the first bands metal. You can listen in a hard rock CD many songs that clearly are similar to this genres. But the real thing that people love of hard rock is the power that you can transmit to the people that listen to it! And I think that this is awesome because you can really listen to the power that one band put on the stage.

Which bands have influenced your style?
I think that Guns n Roses, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Ratt and Van Halen are the first. We also listen other bands but these are the principals.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
I am really happy just when with my band I play rock n roll on stage and then we go on the road and come to other gigs. Every person has a different way to think of happiness; play music is mine.

Tell me some of the bands you admire.
Well, they play really good songs and they aren’t scared to say what is on their mind.

What song is in your head right now?
I have to songs in my head now: our song “Stop” and “Black Dog” of Led Zeppelin but I don’t know why ahah!

Name 3 words that describe your band.
Hard-Rock, family, friends.

Which are the best and the worst qualities of your band?
The best thing is that we know what the others are thinking without talking and that’s really awesome especially when you play on the stage or you are in studio. The worst… Well, I think that we are so particular that or you love us or you hate us. There isn’t an intermediate way.

And of your local music scene?
In our region there aren’t now many places where you can play because many people don’t have the money to go out or simply prefer to go the disco instead to listen to the bands. But I have to tell you that in our region I have seen many bands really cool and in many places people that come to see us are awesome.

What is the most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been with Attitude?
I don’t know! There were many times that we had party but in every party we had there is always something embarrassing ahah! We love have party together so we really try to have fun and being in strange situations every time and we don’t care about what people say.

Have you got a good reason to be in Behind Magazine?
I think that we are a good young band and we are always interested about what people think about our songs and our genre and Behind Magazine is a really good way to this so thank you for the interview!
