The next big thing! Living Corpse

What did you do in the last six months?
During the last six months we were incredibly busy recording our album and organizing everything for the release of “And Everything Slips Away” which had us occupied day and night. Also, we shot our first video and it was an incredible experience!

What do you’ve in your wallet now?
Ah surely it much lighter than before! But we are happy with the results we’ve reached and we hope that our work will be appreciated by the public.

How much important is the image (look) for your band? Why?
It’s not fundamental, but surely it is very important for us, as it is for all bands which get framed for what they look like. In any case, we are dedicated to our music and want to be appreciated for this and not for our style or haircut!

Talk to me about the new album “And Everything Slips Away”. Are you fully satisfied?
“And Everything Slips Away” is an album that talks about sensations and thoughts, with a sound that’s strong and makes you feel fully involved, which allowed us to express what we wanted both with the music and the words. There are many different music influences in it that go from electro to hardcore and we are very satisfied with what we were able to do.

What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
We would like to travel doing what we love most, playing. This would be the peak of happiness for us, and if we could possibly have enough money to pay for food it would be great!

Who are some of the bands you admire?
One of the bands that have inspired us both musically and for them carrier is Bring Me The Horizon which regardless the thousands of controversies heard on them, are always able to land the spotlight in the new music scene. But all of us have different musical taste an this makes it so that we get inspiration also from very different artists like Tool, Pink Floyd… All of these different styles reflect on our music.

What song is in your head right now?
Ok, so it could seem a little weird, but the song that I’ve been recently listening to over and over again is “Make Me Wanna Die” by Pretty Wreckless

Name 3 words that describe your band.
Sun, Heart, Love. (We’re happy people!)

The best and worst quality of your band?
Quality: We’re six totally different people and we all come from different music genres so we always have many different ideas when we write our pieces.
Defect: In this last album we may have made the structure of the songs in some parts a little too fast and blunt.

What’s the most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been with Living Corpse?
Probably the fact that our drummer left us a week before the album’s release for personal problem, this created a whole series of problems in organizing all which concerned live promotion! Fortunately we were able to resolve the problem!

What’s the most ridiculous rumor you’ve read about the band?
We’re not famous enough to have rumors about us!

Do you’ve a good reason to be in Behind Magazine?
Because we’re a new band and we would love to have the largest amount of visibility possible, reaching everybody who could enjoy our music!
