Tell me about the story of the band!
Ant: Hi guys, here’s Antomega and Sab, singer and guitarist of The Juliet Massacre. We formed in April 2006 and we have one EP, one single and two albums in our discography. At the moment we are promoting our last full-lenght “Human Abuse”. For all other info and bio I suggest you to follow us on our Facebook page.
What did you do in the last six months?
Ant: We promoted “Human Abuse” with live shows, interviews, recording new videos and all the stuff that a band does after the release of a new album.

What have you got in your wallet now?
Ant: In my wallet just two euro, but if you’re talking about personal/band experiences, well, we have grown together as musicians and this may be caught by the maturity of the tracks on “Human Abuse”: there is more speed, more technique, a deep vocal experience and everything that makes you say “these have improved since their last album” (this last looking at all the reviews of the album).
Why have you chosen this name for your band?
Ant: Well, nothing special, me and the actual drummer were looking for something like a good and an evil words, nothing else… P.S. Juliet is not referred to Romeo and Juliet!
How important is the look/appearance for your band?
Ant: We’re trying to increase the important of these things, expecially on stage: a good appearance/show is the first step to the success.
Tell us about the new LP “Human Abuse”. Are you fully satisfied with it?
Ant: Totally satisfied, but we can improve every single thing on our next one. “Human Abuse” has an apocalyptic concept: just look around you and you’ll be able to say “Yes, this lyric about police violence from ‘Human Abuse’ fits to this reality… Oh wait, also this one about pollution… Oh wait, also this about the racism…” and so no. If you read the lyrics you can have the source of the collapse, but the answer for the why. No, we can’t give you an answer, the answer about the why is too much complicated, but we wanna denounce these things to everyone had forgotten about these.
Which is the highest point of the LP?
Sab: When the first song start.
…And the low point?
Sab: Right after the min. 36.
How would you define your sound?
Ant: It’s fast, brutal and immediate.
Death/Slam/Core. Describe for me these words!
Ant: Do you know tank? I think “tank” is the perfect word to describe those three words.
Which bands have influenced your style?
Ant: From the beginning i think Job For A Cowboy, Devourment, As Blood Runs Black, now I can’t tell you exactly, but a lot of band
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Sab: When I see people in front of us enjoy our show.
What song is in your head right now?
Sab: “I kissed a girl” by Katy Perry. I think it’s a beautiful song.
Name 3 words that describe your band.
Ant: Death slam hardcore.
Which are the best and the worst qualities of your band?
Sab: Stupidity is surely the best and maybe the worst
And of your local music scene?
Sab: Not bad. There are many bands that work hard every day and metalheads willing to support them.
What is the most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been with The Juliet Massacre?
Sab: Sleep with a girl with stinky underarms
Have you got a good reason to be in Behind Magazine?
Ant: Yeah, you promote underground acts like us and this is lifeblood for this kind of band, so, thank you so much guys and thank you to all our dear fans, the other lifeblood for the bands
