Following the success of the MIG Limited Edition, a unique run of just 20 units dedicated to 20 time Trials World Champion Toni Bou, which sold out online in four weeks, THOK announces the MIG and MIG-R versions of their e-mtb.

The MIG and MIG-R share all the main technical features of the exclusive MIG Limited Edition, starting with the Shimano Steps E8000 motor with a 504 watt/hour battery mounted under the down tube to lower the center of gravity and improve maneuverability. True “All Mountain” geometry is retained: 150mm front travel and 140mm rear, 66º steerer-tube, 74º seat tube and 27.5 plus wheels. The frame is extremely rigid thanks to the unique mounting of the motor to the down tube, a rear-suspension system designed specifically for an e-mtb and a chain stay that is just 450mm long. It is possible to recharge the battery both on and off the bike.

The only differences from the Limited Edition, apart from the matte grey clear color with black graphics for the MIG-R, and the matte gray dark color with black graphics for the MIG, are the components, which are still high spec for both models. All the MIGs will be delivered with two covers for the battery, one black and one red: an easy way to quickly change the look of the bike.

The MIG and MIG-R can be ordered exclusively at www.thokebikes.com starting from November 20th at a launch price (VAT included) of 3,990 euros for the MIG and 4,990 euros for the MIG-R. Orders are scheduled to be fulfilled beginning in April 2017.

In addition to its popularity with the public, Stefano Migliorini’s project has sparked interest among industry experts. These coming weeks will see the announcement of the first THOK Points, authorized dealers where it will be possible to see the MIG in person and even test it.
