The Dew Tour is an action sports series which was founded in 2005 in the US and was the first contest series lasting the entire year. With 5 events each year, an additional Winter Dew Tour and coverage through media partner such as NBC, Eurosport and MTV, this is the biggest and most attractive action sports event series in the world. At the Dew Tour the world’s best riders start in the categories of skateboarding, BMX and FMX to battle for a staggering $ 3.500.000 prize money.
Eurosport 2 has been broadcasting the DEW Tour since 2006. Since then the series has become one of its flagship events. Therefore Eurosport and Alli (the Alliance of Action Sports, the organizer of the Dew Tour) extended their contract in 2009 for another 5 years. Till 2013 Eurosport 2 will be broadcasting the summer as well as the winter Dew Tour in Europe live and exclusively.
