World Rookie Fest, largest edition ever took place in Livigno

World’s most famous youth snowboard freestyle event – the World Rookie Fest – took place in Livigno (ITA) at Mottolino Fun Mountain. The largest edition ever with 155 participants from 18 different countries was a big success despite the unstable weather conditions.

After a competition at the highest level, Dutch young gun Erik Bastiaansen took the first place in the Rookie category, as well as Swiss rider Elias Rupp who dominated the Groms. On the girl’s side, Finish rider Henna Ikola left 15 other Rookie Girls behind her. Best Grom girl was Tina Steffensen from Norway.
